The Acupuncture Suite is designed to acheive a completely calming experience and most patients feel relaxed while receiving Acupuncture.

Acupuncture is based on the principle of energy – not the energy that lets us get outside and run a marathon – but the life-giving, vital energy source that is unique to living beings. This energy travels on 14+ major pathways on our body, with some being external (on top of our skin) and some internal (flowing through our vital organs).  To have health in Acupuncture, two conditions must be met: a) Each of the pathways must be in balance with each other and b) Each pathway must have the free-flow of energy, with no blockages, stagnations, or decreases.

Acupuncturists use a variety of unique methods to analyze the natural pathways of energy on our bodies, and determine which pathways are affected. For example, we may use Tounge Diagnosis, Pulse Diagnosis, Palpation of Acu-Points, and questions about our patient’s symptomotolgy. Our treatment focuses on restoring balance to the body, therefore allowing one to have health.
